Rose Harvest 2014

Spring has just opened its doors as Alteya prepares for a new rose harvest. The collecting of fresh rose petals is expected to take off in the beginning of May. This year, Alteya will operate from their new base in the Rose Valley, just outside the village of Yagoda (which means ‘strawberry’). It’s here where the organic roses will be harvested, distilled and the obtained rose oil and flower water will be added to our organic cosmetic products. Just like last year, Alteya has implemented a waste management program to make sure the entire process is green from beginning until the end.
